Road incidents as of 9:30 p.m. on July 9
- Today, the California Highway Patrol helped with construction on Highway 1 North at Buena Vista. The #1 lane between Buena Vista and just south of Las Vegas was closed for this work.
- South Highway 1 in Capitola/Soquel is facing closures for road excavation. The closure will last until 6:30 a.m. on August 29.
Long-term projects
These have been going on for a while, but are still worth keeping in mind.
- A single lane on Sims Road, from Brook Knoll Road to 600 La Madrona Drive, is closed for a pipeline project. The closure is in effect daily from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with traffic control measures in place.
- Richmond Drive and Portola Drive at 24th Avenue in Eastside/Live Oak are experiencing road closures due to the Rodeo pump station capacity upgrade project. Expect traffic delays and lane closures, weather permitting. Construction is scheduled from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with extended work hours from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on April 12-13.
