  4. If there’s one thing that comic Doug Benson loves more than weed, it’s movies. Both are front and center in his comedy show “Doug Loves Movies,” Saturday at — you guessed it — 4:20 p.m.
  5. Jenny Scheinman is a special talent who emerged from the remote reaches of Humboldt County to become an acclaimed violinist bridging the gaps between jazz and American folk.
  6. Dance artist Tom Brady again presents his “Man in the Box” performance, which gets more and more challenging as he gets older, both physically and emotionally.
  7. Did you know Santa Cruz has a sister city in Japan? Santa Cruz and Shingu celebrate 50 years of sisterhood in a swanky, internationally themed party at the MAH.
  8. If you know the Infamous Stringdusters, you gotta be stoked that two of the ’Dusters — Travis Book and Andy Falco — are coming together to play the best of Jerry Garcia in Felton. 
  9. Downtown Santa Cruz throws back to old-fashioned Americana with the family-friendly and seasonally resonant Harvest Festival on Saturday.
