SF Beer Week touches down in Santa Cruz County this week with two events in Santa Cruz this Saturday.
On the Westside, Humble Sea Brewing Co. will throw its annual PilsGnar pilsner festival. This event celebrates this crisp, lager beer style with a tap takeover featuring more than 25 craft breweries. Food trucks Scrumptious Fish & Chips and Taqueria Los Gordos will also be on site serving food all day. The event starts at 11 a.m.
In downtown Santa Cruz, Lúpulo Craft Beer House is hosting A Wondrous Affair, a tap takeover from Wondrous Brewing Co., an Emeryville-based brewery specializing in lagers, stainless- and barrel-aged beers, and hoppy beers. Taste six beers from Wondrous brewed by Wynn Whisenhunt, an alum of Capitola’s Sante Adairius Rustic Ales. The event starts at noon.
