Hop N Barley Beer Festival, Santa Cruz County’s local and long-running beer festival, returns to SkyPark in Scotts Valley tomorrow. A $50 ticket includes unlimited tasting of more than 60 beers and ciders from dozens of breweries and cideries from throughout California. Plus, the event offers two stages of live music, a lineup of local food trucks and vintage Volkswagen bus eye-candy courtesy of a local club.

Monkeyflower Ranch, home of Garden Variety Cheeses, is hosting a farm dinner on Saturday evening at its idyllic ranch outside of Watsonville. Guests will visit the farm’s sheep and tour its dairy and cheesemaking facilities before sitting down to an al fresco four-course meal, which will feature pork, lamb, eggs and cheeses produced on the farm, as well as organic produce.
