Bring your family to the Santa Cruz Symphony: An afternoon of music and discovery

Weeks of creative, hands-on learning culminate in a joyful Family Concert that brings music to life for all ages. The afternoon opens with Carnegie Hall Link Up’s The Orchestra Swings, followed by a vibrant showcase from our community arts partners featuring multicultural music and dance from around the world.

After intermission, the fun continues with the beloved Carnival of the Animals. Multi-talented emcee Omari Tau leads the experience, guiding families through this playful and imaginative performance with humor and heart. When the final notes fade, kids can get even closer to the music at the post-concert instrument “petting zoo,” where curiosity takes center stage.
