In July, Venus Spirits outdoor space was packed for Collective Santa Cruz’s Sour Jam Summer Slam. As part of the third of five food-centric events for Collective Santa Cruz’s Extra Tasty Tour, this event explored tart, tangy flavors with some of Santa Cruz’s most creative makers. Our very own Lily Belli hosted a private, Lookout members only food tour before the event got into full swing. From sour beers to funky fermented treats, the event was all about playful, mouth-puckering fun.

Now, the Extra Tasty Tour shifts gears into its last theme – Salty. This Saturday, Sept. 27, Super Salty & Hella Malty, Taste Gud Fest takes over Humble Sea Brewing Co. from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. This Oktoberfest themed event is free and open to the public, but Lookout members get something extra special: another private tasting tour with Lily from 10:30 a.m. to noon, featuring exclusive pours, pairings, and behind-the-scenes flavor stories before the festival gets too crowded.
Whether you puckered up at Sour Jam or are saving your taste buds for some salty goodness, this event is one you won’t want to miss.
