The COVID-19 pandemic has now spanned more than a year. After a deadly winter surge, cases are down and more than a third of the county’s adult population has been vaccinated. Health officials are hopeful that the end is in sight, but it’s not here yet. County hospitals continue to treat COVID-19 patients, and new cases are confirmed every day.
