Road incidents as of 9:30 p.m. on October 24
- A hit and run with no reported injuries happened at 9272 Monroe Ave. in Aptos at 9:19 p.m. today.
- There is a one-way traffic closure on North Highway 9 at Prospect Avenue in San Lorenzo Valley because of emergency work. The closure is expected to end at 3:59 p.m. on December 5.
Long-term projects

- Richmond Drive at Portola Drive and 24th Avenue in Twin Lakes is closed because project work is taking longer than expected. The road will stay closed until October 31.
- PG&E has started work to replace a gas main in the Arroyo and Jolon Drive neighborhood off Green Valley Road in Corralitos / Freedom. There is a soft closure in the area, and construction is expected to continue through November 25.
