Road incidents as of 9:30 p.m. on August 8
- A traffic collision happened today at the intersection of Salinas Rd and Lewis Rd in Watsonville/Pajaro, involving a sedan and a semi-truck. Both southbound lanes were blocked, but the semi-truck driver moved the vehicle to the right side. No one went to nearby hospitals, although some people had cuts on their faces. A tow was requested for a small Mazda truck with major front-end damage. Emergency services were on their way.
- A traffic crash happened near San Juan Rd and Tarpey Rd in Watsonville/Pajaro. A white Alfa Romeo went off the road into bushes and flipped while trying to avoid a semi-truck.
