Road incidents as of 6:30 a.m. on August 7
- A traffic crash happened at the intersection of San Juan Rd and Susan St. in Watsonville/Pajaro today at 6:02 a.m. A black or dark blue minivan crashed into a fence. Fire and medical emergency crews responded to the scene.
- Highway 9 at Cascade Avenue in San Lorenzo Valley has one-way traffic due to ongoing work. This closure will last until August 31.
- Alternating lanes are closed on Highway 9 at Riverdale Park in San Lorenzo Valley because of bridge work. The closure is expected to last until 6:59 a.m. on April 30, 2027.
- A green Chevrolet Silverado hit a deer at Salinas Rd Onramp and Highway 1 North in the Watsonville/Pajaro area. The truck could still be driven, the deer ran away, and no one was hurt. The incident was reported today.
