Road incidents as of 8:30 p.m. on Feb. 28
- A hit and run occurred at 263 Portola Dr in Eastside / Live Oak. The driver hit a carport and left the scene but returned shortly after. No injuries were reported. The incident was reported today.
- A lane on South Highway 1 at Soquel Drive is closed for landscape work. The closure is expected to end by 11:59 p.m. on March 31.
Long-term projects

- Green Valley Road in Watsonville, from Holohan Road to Casserly Road, is experiencing single lane closures due to a Multi-Use Trail Improvement Project. These closures occur from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and are expected to end today, weather permitting.
- A single lane on Little Basin Road near Big Basin Way in San Lorenzo Valley is closed for storm damage repair. This closure started on January 16 and is expected to continue until May 13, weather permitting. Work is happening from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., causing traffic delays.
