Road incidents as of 9:30 p.m. on Mar. 21
- A hit and run incident happened in the parking lot of San Lorenzo High in San Lorenzo Valley. No injuries were reported. A note was left at the scene saying, “Sorry I hit you, there wasn’t much damage, hee hee hee.” The incident was reported today.
- A traffic hazard was reported today at 270 Glen Canyon Rd in Scotts Valley due to a broken pole and damaged power lines over a half-mile stretch. The road was closed with cones, flares, and signs set up by PGE and the fire department. Some vehicles and bicyclists were initially unaware of the closure and had to turn around. The road is now fully closed with signs and barriers.
- A lane on South Highway 1 at Soquel Drive is closed for landscape work. The closure will last until 11:59 p.m. on March 31.
Long-term projects

- A single lane on Little Basin Rd in San Lorenzo Valley is closed from December 23 to April 25, between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., to build two retaining walls, causing traffic delays.
- Little Basin Road near Big Basin Way in San Lorenzo Valley is having storm damage repairs. This is causing single lane closures and traffic delays from January 16 to May 13, between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., weather permitting.
