Road incidents as of 9:30 p.m. on October 10
- Traffic was backed up on Salinas Road and Werner Road up to Hall Road because of road or weather conditions in the Watsonville and Pajaro area. This was reported today.
- A traffic incident involving a motorcycle and a vehicle happened at the intersection of 41st Ave. and Gross Rd in the Eastside / Live Oak area. CHP was called to help with traffic control. The incident was reported today.
- There is a one-way traffic closure on North Highway 9 at Prospect Avenue in San Lorenzo Valley because of emergency work. The closure is expected to end at 3:59 p.m. on December 5.
- Construction crews will start work next week on Highway 9 in Ben Lomond, Santa Cruz County, to install new ADA-compliant curb ramps. The project is set to begin on October 13 and will improve pedestrian access and safety in the area.
Long-term projects
