Road incidents as of 9:30 p.m. on May 30
- South Highway 1 in Capitola/Soquel is facing closures for road excavation work. The closure will continue until 6:30 a.m. on August 29.
Long-term projects
These have been going on for a while, but are still worth keeping in mind.
- A single lane on Sims Road, between Brook Knoll Road and 600 La Madrona Drive, is closed for a pipeline project. The closure is in effect daily from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with traffic control in place. The work is expected to continue until February 2026.
- Richmond Drive and Portola Drive at 24th Avenue in Eastside/Live Oak will have traffic delays and lane closures today from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. due to the Rodeo pump station capacity upgrade project. Construction also took place on April 12-13 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day.
