A six-figure luxury sports car appears to be a write-off after its driver crashed the black 2023 Lamborghini on Highway 9 near Boulder Creek.

The Lamborghini rolled over completely, landing upside down in the roadway. The California Highway Patrol responded to the crash at 12:14 p.m. Sunday and used a patrol car to push the vehicle out of the road.

The car’s occupants sustained only minor injuries, but damage to the car appears severe.

CHP has not released the model of the car; however, it appeared to be a black Huracán STO with yellow detailing. Those models start at more than $334,000 used, according to car-price website Edmunds.

CHP did not provide the cause of the crash, but described it as “preventable” in a social media post. “Please slow down! Hwy 9 is not a racetrack,” the post warned drivers.
