I urge our city and county leaders to stop the progression of the vision of cannabis into local agrotourism. This includes allowing cannabis cultivators to welcome visitors for tours, tastings and purchases similar to wineries.
Right now, cannabis customers can buy legal products only from dispensaries. Many of us do not want dispensaries to offer on-site smoking lounges. Nor do we want dispensaries to expand their operations.
We do not want Corralitos or any area of Santa Cruz County to become the “Napa of pot.”
