From my view, “pro-Palestinian” in UC Santa Cruz terms means “anti-Jewish.” As noted by The New York Times:
“Pro-Palestinian demonstrators at the University of California, Santa Cruz have demanded that school leaders cut ties with Hillel International and three other Jewish organizations.”
Has the “pro-Jewish” element risen up to demand all Muslim campus organizations and activities be banned? Jewish student organizations are not responsible for the Hamas/Israel conflict. Yet we are told that “pro-Palestinian” is not antisemitic. The call to ban these campus organizations is antisemitism pure and simple. This evil must be called out, resisted, and stopped, right now.
