Things to do in San Lorenzo Valley
Roadwork is affecting traffic in the region
- There will be alternating lane closures in both directions on Highway 9 at Pool Drive because of bridge work. This is expected to continue until April 30.
- There is one-way traffic control on Highway 236 at Boulder Brook Drive because of pavement repair. The closure is expected to end at 1:59 p.m. today.
- Highway 9 at San Lorenzo River and Kings Creek bridges, Santa Cruz County: One-way reversing traffic control will be in place during the day and overnight from Monday through Friday this week due to ongoing bridge replacement work.
Farmers market Tuesday
The Felton Farmers Market is the second-oldest market in Santa Cruz County. On Tuesdays during late spring through early fall, a collection of regional farms and food businesses throw up their tents to sell a colorful array of fresh fruits and vegetables, meats, eggs, artisanal bread, seafood and other staple foods.
