Road incidents as of 9:30 p.m. on June 9
- There was a construction-related issue on Highway 17 North at the intersection with Sugarloaf Road in Scotts Valley. The California Highway Patrol assisted with the situation. This was reported today.
- There was a traffic incident today at the intersection of Highway 1 North and Buena Vista in Watsonville/Pajaro. The California Highway Patrol assisted with a construction-related issue.
- South Highway 1 in Capitola/Soquel is facing closures for roadway excavation. The closure will last until 6:30 a.m. on August 29.
Long-term projects

- Richmond Drive and Portola Drive at 24th Avenue will have traffic delays and lane closures today from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. due to the Rodeo pump station capacity upgrade project, weather permitting. Construction will also take place on April 12-13 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day.
