Road incidents as of 9:30 p.m. on September 15
- A tree was blocking part of the southbound side of Lockhart Gulch Rd at Nelson Rd in Scotts Valley at 8:48 p.m. today. Authorities moved most of the tree to the right side, but part of it was still a hazard.
- A hit and run happened on Highway 1 South at the Rio Del Mar Blvd. offramp in Aptos. The suspect’s car hit the other vehicle from behind, made a rude hand gesture, and then drove away. No one was hurt. The incident was reported today.
Long-term projects
These have been going on for a while, but are still worth keeping in mind.
- PG&E has started work to replace a gas main in the Arroyo and Jolon Drive neighborhood off Green Valley Road in Corralitos / Freedom. There is a soft road closure in the area, and construction is expected to continue through November 25.
