Whether you’re commuting, out for a walk or just prefer listening over reading, our new Listen tab puts Santa Cruz County’s top stories right in your ears. Open the app and you’ll find a streamable, up-to-date playlist of audio versions of our journalism.

If you’re not a member yet, you’ll see a short preview playlist so you can sample the experience. But to unlock the full, continuously updated audio feed – and support trusted local journalism – you’ll need to become a member. Every story we convert to audio will appear in your feed automatically. No searching, no refreshing. Just tap “Listen” and go.
