Property development

  • Residents of Santa Cruz County are reminded that the deadline to submit public comments on a zoning application for a proposed vacation rental at 105 Mar Vista Drive in Aptos is fast approaching. Public comments will be accepted until March 7. (view application)
     

Roadwork is affecting traffic in the region

  • A lane on South Highway 1 at Soquel Drive in Eastside/Live Oak is closed for landscape work. The closure will last until 11:59 p.m. on March 31.
     
  • Long-term projects: 1. Starting February 3, Caltrans will conduct daytime traffic control on Highway 9 in Santa Cruz County for vegetation control as part of efforts to reduce wildfire risk.
