Roadwork is affecting traffic in the region
- There is a one-way traffic closure on South Highway 9 at Lorenzo Avenue in San Lorenzo Valley because of emergency work. The closure will last until April 1.
- South Highway 1 at Soquel Drive in Eastside / Live Oak is facing closures for K-rail installation. The closure is expected to end at 5:59 a.m. today.
- There are alternating lane closures on Highway 9 at Pool Drive in San Lorenzo Valley because of bridge work. The closures are expected to end at 4:59 p.m. today.
- One lane of North Highway 9 at Encinal Street in the Westside/Downtown area is closed for shoulder work. The closure will last until February 28 at 3:01 p.m.
- A medium-sized animal carrier with a bird flying around it was seen on the right shoulder of Highway 1 South at 41st Ave. No vehicles were stopped at the scene. The incident was reported on Feb 1.
