Roadwork is affecting traffic in the region
- Both southbound lanes on Highway 9 at Graham Hill, near 10395 Soquel Dr in Aptos, are closed because of road and weather conditions. PG&E is directing one-way traffic in the northbound lane. The southbound lanes are expected to stay closed until the morning today.
- There is one-way traffic on South Highway 9 at Lorenzo Avenue in San Lorenzo Valley because of emergency work. This is expected to end at 3:59 p.m. on April 1.
- One lane is closed on North Highway 9 at Encinal Street in the Westside/Downtown area because of shoulder work. The closure will last until 3:01 p.m. on February 28.
Farmers’ market Sunday
The Corralitos Farm & Garden Market is a small, friendly, open air market made up of local farmers and gardeners who grow within about a five mile radius of Corralitos. Seasonally is has strawberries, blueberries, cherries, lemons, tomatoes, herbs, squash, potatoes, carrots, peas, beets, and avocados, as well as a variety of other fruits, vegetables, lettuces and salad greens. Bakers offer treats, along with a table full of beautiful potted flowers. You may find expertly handmade natural soaps, and homemade jams and preserves.

- Police responded to a report of someone refusing to leave Watsonville Community Hospital. They found that a person had thrown an aluminum soda can at another person.
