Roadwork is affecting traffic in the region
- The southbound lanes of Highway 1 in Capitola/Soquel are facing closures for road excavation. This closure will continue until August 29 at 6:30 a.m.
- Long-term projects: **Sims Road and La Madrona Drive:** A single lane on Sims Road is closed from Brook Knoll Road to 600 La Madrona Drive for a pipeline project. The closure is from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily and will last until February 2026.
