Roadwork is affecting traffic in the region

• Southbound lanes of Highway 1 in Capitola/Soquel are facing closures for road excavation. The closure will continue until August 29 at 6:30 a.m.
   
• Long-term projects: Sims Road: A single lane on Sims Road is closed from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. today due to a pipeline project. Traffic control is in place from Brook Knoll Road to 600 La Madrona Drive.
