In a CalMatters op-ed, columnist Dan Walters writes that California needs to update its higher education plan, especially given the growing competition between the state’s universities and its community colleges.

In case you missed it, Lily Belli broke news that Bookies Pizza is moving from Sante Adarius on Water Street to the Anton Pacific development downtown, making it the first business to claim one of the housing project’s retail spaces.
