One of the victims of a March 21 stabbing at downtown Santa Cruz’s clocktower plaza died over the weekend, Max Chun reports. Justin Moore, 42, had been on life support for about two weeks.

Justin Moore, the second victim in a March 21 stabbing near the downtown Santa Cruz clocktower, died this past weekend at Stanford University Medical Center following about two weeks on life support, according to his mother. He was 42. More here from Max Chun.
Dominican Hospital to share a new president with Redwood City’s Sequoia Hospital
Dominican Hospital will begin sharing a president with Sequoia Hospital in Redwood City next week. The leadership change follows the retirement of longtime president Dr. Nanette Mickiewicz and comes as the hospital faces ongoing challenges with staffing, retention and capacity, concerns nurses hope new CEO Christine McSweeney will address.
