Roadwork is affecting traffic in the region
- The southbound lanes of Highway 1 in Capitola/Soquel are facing closures for road excavation. This closure will continue until 6:30 a.m. on August 29.
- Long-term projects: A single lane on Sims Road and La Madrona Drive, from Brook Knoll Road to 600 La Madrona Drive, is closed for a pipeline project. Traffic control is in place, and the closure is from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily until February 2026.
