Roadwork is affecting traffic in the region

  • South Highway 9 at Lorenzo Avenue in San Lorenzo Valley has one-way traffic because of emergency work. This closure will last until April 1 at 3:59 p.m.
     

Community crime report

  • A person was arrested for multiple charges, including shooting at a home or vehicle, carrying a loaded handgun that did not belong to them, and driving under the influence of alcohol. The incident happened near the Santa Cruz Courts in Santa Cruz County at midnight on February 20. (source)
     
  • A person was involved in an assault with a deadly weapon and violated a protective order, which are serious offenses. There were also multiple warrants for their arrest from Contra Costa and Solano counties, and a local ordinance was violated. The incident happened near Santas Village and northbound State Route 17 in Santa Cruz County at 10 p.m. on February 26. (source)
     
  • A case involving physical injury to a partner and stalking was reported near 1 CIVIC Center Dr, Santa Cruz County at midnight on February 27. (source)
