Community crime report

  • There was an incident aimed at preventing domestic violence that happened at 9 p.m. on August 17. This took place near the intersection of Freedom Blvd and Green Valley in Santa Cruz County. (source)
  • There was an incident on August 17 at 7 p.m. near Buena Vista Drive and Calabasas in Santa Cruz County where someone was caught driving under the influence of alcohol without a valid driver’s license. (source)
  • There was a disturbance involving alcohol and a serious robbery that happened at 2 p.m. on August 17th near the 1200 block of Main Street in Watsonville. (source)
  • A serious incident happened at 2 p.m. on August 17 near Airport Blvd and Pajaro Ln in Santa Cruz County. It involved someone hurting their partner or someone they live with, possibly causing serious injuries. The person responsible also had a weapon, even though they shouldn’t have, and wouldn’t let the victim leave. They also broke or damaged a phone or another way to communicate, which was related to domestic violence. (source)
