Community crime report

  • A 49-year-old man was arrested for causing a disturbance while under the influence of alcohol. This happened at midnight on May 22, near the 400 Block of E Lake Avenue in Watsonville. After his arrest, he was taken to the Santa Cruz County Jail. (source)
  • A fight broke out between two men, aged 48 and 64, late at night on May 21. The younger man was arrested and given a citation for attacking the other. This happened close to the 100 Block of Atkinson Ln in Watsonville. (source)
  • A local resident reported that one of his large trucks was stolen. This happened around noon on May 21, near the 100 Block of Lee Rd in Watsonville. The stolen property is worth more than $950, making this a serious theft. (source)
  • A 31-year-old woman was arrested early in the morning at 8 a.m. on May 21 for several legal issues she hadn’t resolved, including both serious and less serious charges. This happened near the 100 Block of E Lake Avenue in Watsonville. After her arrest, she was taken to the local jail. (source)
