The City of Watsonville is partnering with Pajaro Valley Unified School District for the upcoming Summer in the City internship program, which is now accepting applications.
The program is open to all incoming juniors and seniors enrolled in high schools in Watsonville, Pajaro Valley and Aptos. It provides youth with career readiness skills, leadership and civic engagement activities, and opportunities to participate in local government.
Twenty students will be chosen to participate, earning $1,000 and 5 elective credits. Applications are due by 5 p.m. April 21, and decisions will be announced by May 2.
