Bay Federal Credit Union has named Rita Toston as its new Vice President of Risk Management, bringing two decades of experience in banking and compliance to the leadership team. In her new role, Toston will lead the Credit Union’s Enterprise Risk Management program and oversee the organization’s risk profile.

Toston’s background includes consulting for community banks and fintech companies through her own LLC, as well as senior positions at Citibank. As Senior Vice President of Compliance Testing at Citibank, she played a key role in supporting U.S. personal banking operations, specializing in compliance, audit, and operational risk.

Toston holds a bachelor’s degree in management and finance from Park University, along with an MBA from Ottawa University. She also holds a Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) certification.

Outside of her professional life, Toston enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with her family, which includes her spouse, two sons, and their rottweiler puppy, Cody.
