Quick Take
Santa Cruz Restaurant Week runs Oct. 22-29, featuring three-course fixed-price dinners at restaurants across Santa Cruz County to highlight the local culinary scene.
One of the area’s long-standing annual dining events is around the corner. As of publication, 23 restaurants around the county are participating in Santa Cruz Restaurant Week, with the potential for more additions.
Restaurant Week spans eight nights from Oct. 22 to Oct. 29 with each participating restaurant offering a three-course, fixed price dinner menu. The special restaurant week menus are priced at either $45, $55 or $65, not including tax, gratuity or beverages. Regular menu items will also be available.
The event spotlights local food culture, showcases new creations from chefs and restaurateurs, and encourages diners to try eating out somewhere new.
The alt-weekly Good Times created Restaurant Week 17 years ago. It now has spinoffs Burger Week and Pizza Week.
A list of participating restaurants and their featured menus is continually updated on santacruzrestaurantweek.com and will be complete by Wednesday, Oct. 22.
