Tree removal work will result in daytime closures of one lane of northbound Highway 17 in Santa Cruz next week.
Starting Monday, Nov. 4, and continuing through Thursday, Nov. 7, travelers will encounter a closure of the right lane from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. between Pasatiempo Drive and La Madrona Drive.
The California Department of Transportation suggests motorists allow extra time for travel through the area and predicts delays of between 10 and 15 minutes.
Message and directional signs will be in place to alert travelers.
Contracted crews will be utilizing a crane and removing trees.
