Road incidents as of 9:30 p.m. on May 19
- A traffic crash happened at Manfre Rd and Larkin Valley Rd in Watsonville / Pajaro at 9:14 p.m. today. Emergency services were on their way, and at least one person was reported trapped in the vehicle.
- A single-car crash happened at Freedom Blvd. and Day Valley Rd in Corralitos / Freedom at 8:50 p.m. today. The car went into a ditch, and the driver stayed in the car at first, then left in a blue pickup truck to get another vehicle to help pull out the car. A 45MPH sign and pole were knocked down. It’s not known if anyone was hurt.
- A lane on westbound SR-152 at Clifford Drive/Ohlone Parkway in Watsonville and Pajaro is closed for asphalt paving. The closure will last until July 3.
- There is a one-way traffic closure on Highway 9 at Cascade Avenue in San Lorenzo Valley because of ongoing work. This closure will last until August 31 at 7:01 a.m.
- CHP helped with construction work at the intersection of Highway 1 North and Soquel in the Eastside / Live Oak area. This was reported today.
- Two live fawns were seen on the right shoulder of northbound Highway 17 at Granite Creek in Scotts Valley today.
