Road incidents as of 9:30 p.m. on August 12
- A hit and run happened today on Highway 17 Southbound at Scotts Valley Drive in Scotts Valley. No injuries were reported. The Scotts Valley Police Department has been alerted to be on the lookout.
- There is a traffic issue at the intersection of Highway 1 North and Park in Capitola/Soquel. The traffic lights are flashing red and are expected to stay that way until 6:00 p.m. The problem has been reported to NETCOM and SCZ OFC for further action.
- The southbound lanes of Highway 1 in Capitola/Soquel are facing closures for road excavation. This closure will continue until August 29 at 6:30 a.m.
Long-term projects
