Road incidents as of 8:30 p.m. on January 13
- There is a one-way traffic closure on South Highway 9 at Lorenzo Avenue in San Lorenzo Valley because of emergency work. The closure will last until April 1.
- There was a construction-related hard closure at Highway 1 North and Park in Capitola/Soquel from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. CHP officers Garcia and Rodriguez were on scene in separate vehicles. The incident was reported today.
- CHP helped with construction on northbound Highway 1 at Mar Monte in Aptos. As of 8:22 p.m. today, the #1 lane was closed just north of Mar Monte because of the construction.
- A hit and run with no injuries happened at the intersection of Scotts Valley Dr and Glenwood Dr in Scotts Valley. Vehicles involved were seen leaving at Granite Creek. Scotts Valley Police were notified to be on the lookout. The incident was reported today.
