  • A traffic collision happened at the intersection of Willow Rd and Sill Rd in Watsonville/Pajaro at 7:46 p.m. today. A vehicle ended up on its side after hitting a pole, and smoke was seen coming from it. An officer was trapped inside but managed to get out. Emergency services, including fire and PG&E, responded to the scene. The traffic signal at Hall and Las Lomas was out, so drivers need to treat it as a four-way stop. PG&E estimated a 90-minute response time to fix the signal, working through the night. Tow services were initially requested but later canceled.
