Vista Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired will host a ribbon-cutting and networking event on July 31 to celebrate its grand opening of its new Santa Cruz office.

The new office represents an expansion of services and support for those who are blind or visually impaired. “This new location allows us to serve more clients in the Santa Cruz area, removing barriers to access and ensuring vital resources are within reach,” said Sophia Boylan, branch director of Vista Center in Santa Cruz.

The event will take place at 1509 Seabright Ave., Unit 1B, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., with the official ceremony starting at 6:15 p.m. Funders, donors, elected officials and community members are welcome to tour the new office, enjoy light refreshments and connect with community leaders.
