Road incidents as of 9:30 p.m. on August 6
- There was a traffic break on Highway 1 South at Soquel today. The California Highway Patrol helped with the break and closed the #1 lane. A Granite Rock supervisor and CT were at the scene working on a project.
- A traffic collision happened at the Soquel Avenue onramp to Highway 1 South involving a white Toyota Prius and another vehicle. The incident was reported at 8:47 p.m. today. The reporting party’s father was involved in a rear-end collision, but the vehicles were believed to be drivable, and no injuries were reported. A person was detained for DUI at 9:18 p.m.
- Southbound lanes of Highway 1 in Capitola/Soquel are completely facing closures. The closure will continue until August 29 at 6:30 a.m.

Long-term projects
