Looking for a more intimate community experience over one of the large festivals happening this weekend? The city of Scotts Valley is celebrating a milestone turn around the sun with a 60th Birthday Bash at Skypark on Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event includes kids activities, roller skating, live music, interactive history displays, plenty of hometown pride and, of course, a birthday dessert and singing. – Lily Belli
