Here, find a curated list of the best food and drink events in Santa Cruz County for the coming week. At the top, I share my picks of unmissable local happenings.

Local event company Collective Santa Cruz is back with the second stop of its summer Extra Tasty Tour. The Bitter Buzz Block Party will take over Chestnut Street in front of 11th Hour Coffee in downtown Santa Cruz from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday. Food vendors, artists and craftspeople will showcase their take on bitter flavors, from coffee and chocolate to green juices and hoppy beer, with a spritz bar, exotic reptiles from Pet Shop Santa Cruz and a live DJ. The event is free to enter.

The 10th annual Farm To Fork Gala returns this Saturday evening with a dinner at Seascape Golf Club in Aptos. The event includes a locally sourced gourmet menu, fine regional wines, and live and silent auctions. Tickets support Santa Cruz County-based nonprofit Community Bridges, which works to deliver essential services and resources across the county. Funds raised this evening go directly towards supporting programs that benefit local children, families and older adults. Tickets are $120.
