Chaminade Resort & Spa’s summer dinner series, Vine to View, is in full swing. The second event of the season brings The Prisoner Wine Co. from St. Helena to a dining room overlooking Monterey Bay at 6:30 p.m. Friday. Wines are paired with a four-course dinner prepared by Chaminade chef Avram Samuels. Four more events with different California wineries will run monthly through October. Tickets are $155.
Support the preservation of local agricultural history at the Agricultural History Project’s Annual Dinner this Saturday from 4 to 8:30 p.m. at Santa Cruz County Fairgrounds. A meal by Five Star Catering will be served in the spacious Borina Tractor Barn, followed by silent and live auctions, and other entertainment. Tickets are $125.
