Another sure sign of summer in Santa Cruz County is the highly anticipated new lineup of live performances at the Mountain Winery in Saratoga. The concert series isn’t merely a summer thing, however. Beginning in May and stretching deep into October, it covers half the year.
The Mountain Winery series gets started May 15 with the veteran EDM group Thievery Corporation, followed the next night by the elegant piano jazz icon Diana Krall. Then, it’s off to the races with a strong lean toward stand-up comedy: Trevor Noah (May 23-24), Kevin Hart (May 29) and George Lopez (May 31).

The 2025 lineup features some of the greatest living figures in American music, including Diana Ross (Aug. 16), Smokey Robinson (July 26), the Beach Boys (Aug. 17) and Buddy Guy (Aug. 12).
Among the special events this year are the Yacht Rock Revue (June 13), “Lost ’80s Live” (Aug. 30) with big-name bands from the crazy-haircut new wave movement, and, for a slightly older demographic, the “Happy Together” tour (July 10) with pop hitmakers from the 1960s, including the Turtles, the Cowsills and Gary Puckett & the Union Gap. The lineup is heavy with tribute acts as well, including doppelgangers for ABBA, Led Zeppelin, Fleetwood Mac, the Bee Gees, Queen and Pink Floyd.
Tickets are now on sale.
