Roadwork is affecting traffic in the region
- Both southbound lanes on Highway 9 at Graham Hill, near 10395 Soquel Dr, are closed because of road and weather conditions. PG&E is directing one-way traffic in the northbound lane. The southbound lanes are expected to stay closed until the morning today.
- There is one-way traffic on South Highway 9 at Lorenzo Avenue in San Lorenzo Valley because of emergency work. This is expected to end at 3:59 p.m. on April 1.
- One lane is closed on North Highway 9 at Encinal Street in the Westside/Downtown area because of shoulder work. The closure will last until 3:01 p.m. on February 28.
Farmers’ market Saturday
Aptos Farmers Market at Cabrillo College features 90 vendors, of which most are certified organic or use sustainable farming methods, offer pastured grass fed meats and poultry, sustainable fish, oysters, handcrafted cheeses, locally produced olive oil, fresh pasta and gourmet sauces, organic juices, handmade sauerkraut, Corralitos smoked sausages and bacon, artisan breads and baked goods, organic honey, mushrooms, sprouts and microgreens, farm fresh eggs, flowers, potted plants, seedlings, herbs, and an unsurpassed selection of certified California grown fruits, vegetables and nuts.
