Property code violations
County officials cite property owners for issues such as substandard housing, illegal uses of buildings, property maintenance, abandoned appliances or furniture, construction without permits, and other issues that affect public safety and quality of life.
- The property at 958 30th Ave., Santa Cruz, was cited on January 8, in Code Compliance Case NV25326 for building code violations related to unpermitted structures that were over height, oversized, or did not meet required setbacks. These violations meant that certain structures on the property were built without the necessary permits, exceeded allowable height or size limits, and/or were constructed too close to property lines, in violation of local zoning and building regulations. The county has confirmed that the code violation has now been addressed, and officials are currently monitoring the property to ensure ongoing compliance.
