County officials cite property owners for issues such as substandard housing, illegal uses of buildings, property maintenance, abandoned appliances or furniture, construction without permits, and other issues that affect public safety and quality of life.
- A code violation notice has been issued for 312 Pineridge Rd., Bonny Doon, under case number NV25366. According to the notice, the property was cited for constructing an accessory structure (garage) without the required permits and connecting it to electrical utilities without proper authorization. Additionally, the rear porch was enclosed and outfitted with electrical connections, also without permits. The construction of a front yard carport was similarly completed without obtaining the necessary permits. These violations pertain to both unpermitted building activities and unauthorized electrical work.
Roadwork is affecting traffic in the region
- Starting this week, there will be one-way reversing traffic on Highway 9 at the San Lorenzo River and Kings Creek bridges, north of Boulder Creek. A temporary traffic signal will control traffic as part of the bridge replacement project in the area.
