Roadwork is affecting traffic in the region
- A traffic crash happened today on Highway 1 at Larkin Valley Road near Seascape and San Andreas in Aptos. No one was hurt. The vehicles, including a white Toyota Tundra, were on the right shoulder under the overcrossing, and no tow truck was needed.
- North Highway 9 at Prospect Avenue in San Lorenzo Valley has one-way traffic due to emergency work. The closure is expected to end at 3:59 p. on December 5.
- Long-term projects: Richmond Drive at Portola Drive and 24th Avenue in Twin Lakes is closed for ongoing project work. The completion date has been pushed back to October 31 because more time is needed due to unexpected conditions.
